ZONE 07 // THE TOKEN
$PI Tokenomics
$PI is the coin the whole island runs on — the single, only token. It lives in your own wallet — we never hold it. Pay $PI for packs, win and collect skins, and trade them on a live $PI market where sellers are paid in real $PI. Here's exactly what it does and where its value comes from.

What $PI does
$PI is a utility token — it powers a real, working game economy. No chips, no second balance, no conversions — one token, three jobs:
Buy loot packs directly with $PI — half of that $PI is burned forever.
Skins won from packs trade on a live $PI market — a real economy of collectibles.
Sell a skin and the marketplace pays $PI straight to your wallet. Nothing to cash out.
Where the value comes from
Real gameplay creates real sinks. The more the island plays, the more $PI gets burned and the more backs the economy:
Every $PI spent on a pack is split 50% burned — destroyed forever, shrinking supply — and 50% to the treasury.
Every skin that sells on the market pays a 5% fee, split 2.5% burned + 2.5% to the treasury. Sellers are paid the rest in $PI directly to their wallet.
The treasury halves back the marketplace and fund player prizes, liquidity and buy-backs — never your own trades. Exactly where it goes is below, live and verifiable.
Net effect: deflationary by design — supply can only shrink (burns), never inflate.
Where the treasury goes
Half of every pack's $PI is burned; the other half goes to the treasury — a single, public Solana wallet. But it isn't a slush fund. Most of it is a working float: the treasury is what pays marketplace sellers, so it must always hold enough to cover every sale and open bid. Only the balance above those obligations — the surplus — is ever spent.
Treasury // live
at launchThe live treasury dashboard — total $PI burned, on-chain balance, reserved float, and deployable surplus — turns on with $PI at launch and updates in real time from the chain. The treasury is a public wallet: you'll verify every figure yourself.
The surplus is put to work in this order — reserve first, players first:
First claim on every $PI in the wallet. This float guarantees that every marketplace sale and resting bid can be paid out. Not discretionary — never spent.
The community's share of the surplus — funding tournaments, seasonal leaderboard payouts, and free packs & drops. It flows back to people who play.
A slice of surplus buys $PI back and burns it on a schedule — extra deflation on top of the 50% pack burn and the 2.5% market burn.
Deepen the $PI market (tighter spreads, less slippage) and keep the game shipping — servers, art, new modes.
Nothing is hidden: the treasury is a public wallet, and every burn, fee and payout is on-chain — verifiable in real time.

Good to know
- • Jump in and race from your browser; collecting and trading run on $PI and a connected Solana wallet.
- • Each pack settles on Solana, so it carries a small SOL network fee that scales with the pack — never a flat tax.
- • $PI and skin values can change — there's no guaranteed return.
- • Pump Island is an independent game with an on-chain collectible economy, built for entertainment. Not affiliated with pump.fun or any other project. Nothing here is financial advice, and digital collectibles carry no guaranteed value — only spend what you can afford to lose.
